今日は、

Bachelor

1. a man who is not and has never been married.

2. a person who holds a first degree from a university or other academic institution (only in titles or set expressions).

バチェラー。

番組でもあるけど、どういう意味か知らないなぁ

と思って調べてみました。

へー。

１つ目の「独身の男」意味は何となく想像できたけど、

２つ目の「学位を持ってる人」の意味はまったく知らなかった。

今日も１日１英語。
